Founders of ER-BAK METAL INC. have begun Brass production with a crucible melting furnace in Arnavutköy, Istanbul in 1976. The company’s title was registered as ER-BAK METAL INC.  in 1978. Closely pursuing technology at all times, ER-BAK METAL INC. made the electrical induction furnace and the continuous cast line operational in 1995. The company raised its monthly capacity from 150 tons to 300 tons with the introduction of such innovations. Having raised quality, ER-BAK did not sacrifice quality either. The company initiated physical and chemical controls and tests in the laboratories it set up in the same period. In 2000 Our Company reached a production capacity of 600 tons/month.

The company received the “ISO 9001: 2000” certificate from TUV in 2004. The Turkish Standards Institute granted our company which performs production at EN norms the “TS EN 12164” and “TS EN 12165” quality certificates.

In the light of developing technology, ER-BAK METAL INC.  started production at its new facilities in 2008. Located in Kıraç, Istanbul, these facilities have an outdoor area of 12,000 m2 and an indoor area of 7,000 m2. Global standards have been reached in Brass Rod  production at these facilities. The production capacity is 2,500 tons/month. The product range was expanded with Extrusion Presses with capacities of 1,600 tons and 800 tons. Quality control studies are carried out at each operation point.

At quality assurance laboratories, chemical analyses of Copper, Zinc and Lead samples and hardness checks, tensile strength controls, micro-structural examination and chemical analyses of products are conducted.
